You visited one of our independent insurance agents; you purchased an insurance policy; now you have a loss which you believe is covered by that insurance policy. You should promptly report the loss to your agent, who will file a first report of the loss to our company......

WHAT HAPPENS THEN? Fast response is our objective. Our goal is to make contact with you, if you are available, the same day we receive the report. This is the beginning of the claim adjusting process and we are committed to settling claims promptly and in accordance with the provisions of the policy and coverage you purchased.

Patrons successfully and professionally handles thousands of claims each year. We have an enviable record of treating policyholders fairly. Some features of our claims service include:
- Our claims department has a history of working with our insureds and agents.
- We have in-house staff adjusters and also use independent adjusters depending on your location.
- We provide our customers with an Emergency Claims Service should they need to report an emergency claim when our office is closed.
- Many of our agents are able to settle minor claims in their office.
- Our staff adjusters are licensed and continue to educate themselves to provide the best service.

What you should do if a loss occurs

-Immediately contact your insurance agent who will provide us with the necessary information to begin processing your claim. Your agent will assist you in every way they can to see your claim through to a satisfactory conclusion.

-Should you prefer, you can report your claim directly to Patrons Oxford
by dialing 1-800-542-7032. Claim Reporting is available 24 hours a day, 7 days
a week.

How to inquire on the status of your claim

-Our claim staff can provide you with information on the status of your claim. Call (207) 783-2258 or (800) 442-6071 during normal customer service hours (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM). Please be sure to have your claim number handy for speedy reference.

-You may contact your agent as well if you have a claim question. They can provide
you with their expert advice and make additional inquires on your behalf.
