POOL AND WATER SAFETY RULES

 

#1. NEVER swim alone.

#2.  Know how deep the water is where you’ll be swimming.

#3.  NEVER dive in shallow water.

#4.  Walk-don’t run-and keep the pool/water area clear so no one will trip.

#5.  Use all pool & water equipment properly.

#6.  NEVER swim if there’s stormy weather.

#7.  If you are on a boat… Always make sure you are wearing a life jacket.

 

ESPECIALLY FOR  GROWN-UPS

#1.  Never leave children alone-even for a minute.

#2.  Have a cordless phone handy to make emergency calls.

#3.  Keep rescue equipment easily accessible and in good working condition.

#4.  Have a first aid kit handy-keep it stocked.

#5.  Protect children from the sun-use plenty of sunscreen.

#6.  Secure all gates, doors and windows leading to the pool.

#7.  Never consider children ‘WATER SAFE” despite swimming skills.
